A new website, a new era at Capture Your Photos
9 years ago today I entered the photo business. A person who became both a friend and mentor invited me in and I can honestly say, I’ve never looked back. I’m a lucky girl. I get to do work that I believe, down to my very core, helps people build relationships and touch hearts. I’m not gonna lie, it hasn’t always been roses and lollipops. In fact, some days it’s been all technical glitches and not enough time in the day, but from where I sit right now, it’s pretty dang great.
Do you know why?
Because today marks a new milestone at Capture Your Photos. Today, we launch our new website and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s fresh, it speaks from my heart, and for me, it shows how far we’ve come.
The Evolution of Capture Your Photos…
2010: Holly falls in love…with some photo products and makes the unpredictable decision to share them with others (‘She’s doing what???’). She didn’t plan to start a business. She was truly just following a passion.
2012ish: Holly quickly realizes that while people wanted organized photos and beautiful albums, time was short and getting it done was hard. The solution…do it for them. Photo Solutions by Holly Corbid was born.
2014: While she never intended to start a business, it happened…so Holly decided that if she’s going to do this right and well, it was time to take it to the next level. Capture Your Photos was born with a new brand, a new website and a new focus around what the market and her clients were asking for.
2019: Holy Cow…5 years later! Photo organizing as a profession is still new and continues to grow and change every. single. day. and I’m so proud to say that Capture Your Photos has grown with it. Over the past 5 years, we have participated in countless hours of training to stay current with this crazy digital market, continuously built and evaluated processes to make sure the services we offer are both efficient and amazing, invested in resources (people, equipment, etc.) to allow us to better serve you, and best of all, touched countless hearts by bringing memories back into people’s lives.
So as I bask in the glow of launch day, I’m so grateful for all of my clients that trusted me with their memories, my network of super smart and courageous women entrepreneurs, and my family, who have both supported me AND let me splash their adorable faces all over the place.
