Set some goals...touch some hearts

Besides walking, I'm not a big exerciser. I just don't like it that much, but this past winter, I decided to try something new. I took a boot camp style class, clearly focusing on muscles that I don't have (evidenced by the pain I felt following several of the classes).  It was hard. I got through it for 4 reasons:

  1. I set a goal (I can do almost anything if I know how many minutes, hours, days, weeks, etc., it will last)
  2. I adjusted my attitude so I was in the right mindset (not saying I loved it the whole time...because again...it was hard)
  3. I had an awesome coach (Thanks Laura!) who encouraged me, and quite frankly, held me accountable
  4. I honored the time that I set aside for it. I showed up.

It's not rocket science. Think about your photo projects. All it takes...set a goal, put your mind in the right place to get 'er done, set aside time to do it (no excuses) and if you need one...get a coach to encourage you, give you some ideas and hold you accountable.

There are so many awesome things to celebrate in the Spring months...graduations, faith events like First Communion and Confirmation, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. It's a beautiful time to set some goals and touch some hearts.
